Change in border crossing requirements

Beginning January 31, 2008 U.S. and Canadian citizens entering the U.S. at land and sea ports of entry must show a government issued photograph identification and proof of citizenship (such as birth certificate, but passport is best). The passport requirement starts June 1, 2009.

Explore the Intertidal Shore only by appointment when a tour guide is available.
